Bank security: guarding every branch and the head office in one system

Bank guarding is spread across many branches, each with its own opening hours, night cover, contractors and back doors. Yaqiz gives your security team one web console for every branch and an Android app for each guard: photo clock-in inside the branch boundary, QR checkpoint patrols after closing, a double-tap SOS and a visitor record at the head-office gate.

Every branch on one screen, and each supervisor sees only theirs

Add each branch as a site with its boundary drawn on the map, and assign supervisors to the branches they cover. A supervisor sees only those branches, while head-office staff you allow to see all sites follow every branch. Built-in and custom roles decide who can do what, and the audit trail records who changed users, sites, roles or shifts, and when. Nobody can edit those entries, and they stay for a year, so a change to a branch's guards or shifts can be traced months later.

Banking hours and night cover, with proof of presence

Build weekly shifts for each branch, night shifts that cross midnight included. A guard can clock in only from inside the branch boundary (a drawn boundary allows 50 m for phone GPS error), within the shift window, with a photo taken there and then in the app, never from the gallery; a clock-in from home is refused before the camera opens. Branch supervisors hear of a late clock-in as it happens, and of a no-show once the shift is over.

  • Presence check-ins for a lone guard in a closed branch: "Are you OK?" at the interval you set, a selfie every few times; three misses in a row take the guard off duty and alert supervisors
  • A live map of on-duty guards, and an alert when one stays outside the branch boundary for 3 minutes

Securing bank branches after closing: QR checkpoint patrols

Place QR checkpoints where a night guard must check: the ATM room door, the emergency exits, the back entrance, the generator room. Pin each one on its floor plan, basements included, give it its spot on the map, and group them into patrol routes with night windows. A scan counts only when the phone's GPS places the guard within the distance you set for that checkpoint; without a precise enough fix, the guard can skip it with a written reason. A checklist item such as "Emergency exit closed" can require a camera photo, and missed or incomplete rounds notify supervisors.

Visitors, contractors and the do-not-admit list

Invite an auditor or an ATM maintenance technician: Yaqiz issues a QR pass to email to them or share as a link, and the guard scans it at the gate. Walk-ins are registered at the gate and handed one of your printed visitor cards. Anyone on the do-not-admit list is stopped unless the control room approves a one-time exception, and the Contractor type can be set up to record tools carried in or out.

  • The phone camera reads an Egyptian national ID card or driving licence, or a passport, and fills in the number and name for review (Android apps only)
  • Lists and reports show only a national ID's last 4 digits, and only to permitted roles; every full reveal is logged

SOS, voice clips and incident reports

A guard facing a threat double-taps SOS. After a 5-second countdown that can be cancelled, the control room and the guards and staff assigned to that branch in Yaqiz are alerted, with the guard's location when the phone has one; with no signal, the alert is saved and sent automatically. Dispatchers acknowledge it, follow responders on a live map and close it with a reason. Guards report incidents with camera photos, each branch has a walkie-talkie channel for push-to-talk voice clips, and reports export as a branded PDF.

Shifts and attendance, presence check-ins, live tracking, patrols, visitor management, SOS, the walkie-talkie, incident reporting, custom roles and PDF reports each depend on your plan.

Frequently asked questions

What happens when there is no signal in a basement?

SOS alerts, patrol scans on routes already saved on the phone, presence check-ins and the guard's positions are kept on the phone and sent later, once it is back online. Everything else, including clock-in and clock-out, visitor registration and incident reports, needs a connection.

Where is the data stored?

With Supabase in Frankfurt, Germany. Each company's data is isolated in the database itself, connections use HTTPS, and data is encrypted at rest by the provider. Photos and files sit in private storage behind short-lived links; a profile photo is the exception, open to anyone who has its link. Some service providers Yaqiz uses may process data in other countries, including the United States.

Which phones do branch guards and managers need?

An Android phone running Android 7.0 or newer, with the guard app downloaded from yaqiz.app/guard. Managers use the console in a browser or the Yaqiz Admin Android app. ID scanning needs Android 8.0 or newer on a 64-bit phone.
